Imaginext: T-Rex by Fisher Price. Recommended for ages 4-7. Bites and roars when pull trigger. Comes with a caveman and a catapult. It should be fine for a 3 year old also. But, I would take away the little caveman accessories until they are older because they are pretty small.

Imaginext T=Rex
My boys love the Imaginext Dinosaur line of toys. We have been buying them for a while and the boys would play with them all of the time. They haven't nearly as much now that they are a little older. But, they do still play with them once in a while. They toys are extremely durable. The kids have a great time making the dinosaurs move and roar with the trigger on the bottom.
